Project Pricing:
Whether your project is simple or complex, we would like to discuss your specific needs. Each aerial project is different and many factors need to be reviewed.
Typical considerations are:
Personnel and equipment safety, site specific conditions, window of availability/scheduling, current weather conditions, still photographs and/or video, desired number of shots and angles and end-use of finished product.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of $500 for on-location video shooting is required to hold the date(s) and must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled project. This deposit will be applied to the final invoice. Should the job be cancelled within 48 hours prior to starting work for reasons outside of our control, the deposit will be forfeited.
Aerial Photography/Video Shoot ( one location*) includes:
- Analyzing the property for safety and takeoff/landing locations
- Assessing desired angles of shots considering sun and wind conditions
- Equipment set up, pre-flight safety check and frequency scan
- Taking aerial photographs (typically 10 - 20 pictures) or video
- Reviewing of images/video with the client (if applicable)
- Aerial photograph proofs (not full resolution images) saved in JPG format available via web or on a CD. Upon reciept of full payment, production proofs will be delivered to client which are suitable for brochure and web use. Higher resolution images are available and will be discussed during outline session.
- Video is provided in NTSC format. Upon receipt of full payment a production DVD will be provided.
Payment
We accept cash, checks, money orders or Pay-pal. Sorry we do not accept any credit cards at this time unless you are using them through Pay-pal. All photographs will either be hand delivered or mailed free of charge within a reasonable timeframe. Commercial enterprises may render payment at the end of the month in which the invoice is issued if required by normal accounting procedures.
Inclement Weather, Site Conditions & Safety:
Monitoring the weather forecast for your location is important. Leading up to the scheduled flight time we will confirm the shoot based on them. We strive to perform our flights under the best weather conditions that will give the most favorable results. However, please realize the mother nature is not 100% predictable. Inclement weather may cause the delay or rescheduling of the flight. Additional fees apply if we are en route or on location and weather conditions, site conditions, and/or safety issues become unfavorable. We reserve the right to make the final decision. If conditions should determine that a flight should be delayed or canceled upon arrival, we will rescheduled for a later date and the client will be responsible for the following:
- If the client chooses to have the crew remain on site until conditions permit and complete the flight, a fee of $100/hour will be added to the total job cost.
- In the event the flight is rescheduled for a later date, the client will be charged for the total job cost plus a re-shoot fee and travel expenses.
- In the event the flight is canceled, the client will be charged for all travel expenses at cost.
Security:
Proper permission (and permits if applicable) and/or security clearance for taking photographs and/or video footage of subjects shall be the sole responsibility of the client and shall be coordinated with us. Upon arrival to site, if an issue should be present, the time used by Perfect Perspective to secure proper security clearance is billable to the client at a fee of $65/hour.
